Jeremy Irons narrates ‘Repton Revealed’ – new work for The Garden Museum

The Garden Museum hosts a film installation from Third Channel in the newly opened exhibition ‘Repton Revealed’. Humphry Repton, the last great English landscape designer of the eighteenth century, is brought to life in a new film by Dorothea Gibbs and animator Tom Langton. Jeremy Irons’ voice over is perfectly poised to describe the life and achievements of Repton, whose work comes to life through the animated pages of his beautifully illustrated notebooks.

The film is on display inside the exhibition at The Garden Museum, which runs between 24 Oct 2018 and 3 Feb 2019. You can find more info about the exhibition here.

In ‘Slick Rick’s – Sending For Home’, barber Nikky Okyere invites us into his shop where he’s created a space in which dance is the rule, not the exception. Every Friday night, people arriving from all over the city come to Nikky’s shop and dance into the night. Director Marcus McSweeney lovingly captures the feel of this extraordinary place in a short documentary, which is part of a wider campaign for the international money transfer company Skrill.
